Find a hunt

City Seekers is a mobile-based AR Scavenger Hunt. You pick a city, follow a trail of written clues to real-world landmarks, and use GPS plus an Augmented Reality (AR) compass overlay to navigate — turn your phone toward the next stop and a guidance arrow floats over the live camera feed. At the end of any hunt, you'll find history, trivia, or a new Curiositter — one of the collectible creatures you catch as you explore.

How it works

Pick a hunt

Browse hunts by city or neighborhood. Each one is a continuous walk of 5 to 40+ stops.

Solve the clue

Every stop gives you a short puzzle pointing at a specific spot — a mural, a plaque, a particular stairwell.

Walk there

GPS confirms when you've arrived. Stuck? Text hints, an AR compass, and a map unlock in escalating order.

Unlock the story

Each arrival reveals more of the route, and every finished hunt leaves you with history, trivia, or a new Curiositter.

What's the AR part?

AR stands for Augmented Reality — digital guidance painted on top of the real world.

Live camera view

When you tap a stop, the rear camera turns on and an Augmented Reality compass arrow overlays the live view, pointing you toward the next clue. A gentle "you're close" beep gets louder as you approach, and a treasure-chest animation pops out of the ground when you arrive — a Curiositter leaps out of the chest and joins your collection. The kind of thing you'll walk an extra block to see again.

Meet the Curiositters

Every stop you crack releases a magical creature called a Curiositter. There are dozens to find.

Arrive at a stop and the chest pops out of the ground — a Curiositter leaps out and joins your Bestiary. Common, uncommon, rare, and legendary. Each one's lore stays locked until you've found it.

Universal templates resolved per city: the chain coffee on Main Street, the park named for a president.

Stuck on a stop?

  1. Clue A short, atmospheric puzzle pointing at the spot.
  2. Hint 1 A creative nudge — thematic or sensory, no street name yet.
  3. Hint 2 More grounded: a neighborhood, a landmark, cross-streets.
  4. AR compass An on-screen arrow pointing at the target as you walk.
  5. Map The exact location pinned. The puzzle is over — just go.
