Copyright & Credits

City Seekers combines original hunt design, licensed imagery, public-place research, and player-submitted photos. This page explains who owns what, where our pictures come from, and how to ask about reuse.
Hunt designs, clues, and game content
Unless a hunt page says otherwise, the hunt concepts, route design, stop order, clue text, hints, reveal copy, trivia, challenge prompts, badges, AR presentation, and overall game experience are original City Seekers works and are protected by copyright. Please do not copy, scrape, republish, sell, or adapt a hunt design without written permission.
We research public places, historical facts, landmarks, signs, plaques, and public art to create hunts. Factual information and public locations are not owned by City Seekers, but our selection, arrangement, puzzle-writing, and narrative presentation are.
Pictures and cover photos
Site-provided cover photos, stop photos, and decorative pictures are either created for City Seekers, licensed from third-party services, or used from sources that allow commercial use. Many content-library images come from Pexels under the Pexels License, which allows commercial and personal use; the photographers retain their own copyrights.
When we have per-photo source metadata, we keep it in the content photo credits file used by the project. If you believe a picture is missing a credit, is incorrectly licensed, or should be removed, email us with the page URL and image details.
Player photos
Photos uploaded by players for photo challenges remain owned by the person who took or submitted them. By uploading a photo, the player gives City Seekers permission to display it inside the hunt experience, on live boards, and in account-related gameplay features as described in the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
Brand, artwork, icons, and animations
The City Seekers name, logo, app icons, interface artwork, custom AR effects, creature/bestiary presentation, and other brand assets are owned by City Seekers unless otherwise credited. Third-party platform icons, browser features, map data, payment-provider marks, or store badges remain the property of their respective owners.
What you may share
You may link to City Seekers pages, share screenshots for personal or editorial purposes, and post your own gameplay photos, provided you do not reveal paid hunt answers in a way that spoils or republishes the hunt. For commercial use, press kits, classroom use, tourism partners, or permission to reproduce hunt material, contact us first.
